A better bin for the jobs roll-offs get wrong.
DropSkip started with a simple observation from the back of a junk-hauling truck: half the dumpsters showing up to Brevard driveways were the wrong tool for the job.
The problem with big steel boxes
Before DropSkip, I spent years hauling junk across the Space Coast, asking people a simple question: when you rent a dumpster, do you really need a giant roll-off? Almost always the answer was no — it's too big, it eats up the driveway, it can damage the pavement, and it only gets pricier the longer it sits. People were paying for more dumpster than they needed. There had to be a better bin.
So we brought over a proven idea
The answer wasn't to invent something — it was already working on the other side of the world. In Australia and South Africa, compact skip bins delivered on a trailer have been the everyday standard for residential and small-contractor work for decades. I came across the equipment overseas and modeled DropSkip on that system — importing the real, purpose-built bins, not a modified roll-off, but bins engineered from the ground up to be compact, driveway-safe, and easy to place. It was a product most people in the US had never seen.
Today DropSkip is the exclusive US representative for that equipment, and one of the first to bring it to American driveways — starting right here in Brevard County.
Small footprint. Big range.
Our two sizes — the 3-yard Skip Mini and the 4-yard Skip Max — share the same 7' × 4' footprint, about the size of a single parking space. The difference isn't job size, it's material: dense, heavy debris like concrete and tile goes in the Mini, where a smaller volume keeps the load safe to haul; lighter, bulkier loads fill the roomier Max. From a weekend DIY project to a large-scale construction job, it's a smaller, more modular bin you can actually picture in your own driveway — landing exactly where you need it, on the driveway, not the street, with no hydraulics dragging across your pavement. DropSkip is owner-operated and based in Brevard County — when you call or text, you're talking to the person who runs it. That means flat-rate pricing with no surprise fees, and honest answers about fit. If your job really needs a big roll-off, or it's a whole-home or estate cleanout that's outside what a mini bin does well, we'll tell you and point you in the right direction. We'd rather send you to the right tool than sell you the wrong one.
Off the clock, I'm into fitness and martial arts — and that same mindset, trying new things and pushing through when it's hard, is what I bring to the work: going the extra mile for a customer, especially when it would be easier not to.
