1. Our Services

DropSkip LLC provides compact dumpster rentals in the Melbourne, Florida area. We offer two sizes:

  • Skip Mini — 3-yard dumpster, great for small cleanouts and projects
  • Skip Max — 4-yard dumpster, ideal for bigger jobs and contractor work

Our flat-rate price covers delivery, placement, pickup, and disposal. Unless we say otherwise in writing, no extra fees are added for standard service. We may use trusted subcontractors to deliver or pick up dumpsters on our behalf.

2. Booking and Payment

  • By booking a dumpster through our website, phone, or text, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Payment may be collected before or after service, depending on the job.
  • All prices are in U.S. dollars.
  • We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods listed at checkout.
  • Your booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us via phone, email, or text.

3. Delivery and Pickup

We do our best to arrive within your scheduled window, but exact times can vary based on route, traffic, and other jobs. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, road conditions, or factors outside our control.

  • You must make sure the placement area is clear and ready before we arrive.
  • If we can't access the drop-off location, a return trip fee may apply.
  • We'll reach out before pickup. Please keep the dumpster accessible.
  • Rental periods are typically 1–5 days. Extended rentals may require additional fees.

4. Customer Responsibilities

When you rent a dumpster from us, you agree to:

  • Load all debris yourself — our team does not load or sort materials.
  • Keep the dumpster within your property or permitted area only.
  • Not move or drag the dumpster once it has been placed.
  • Not overload the dumpster beyond the rim — all debris must stay within the container.
  • Follow all local ordinances regarding placement (permits for street placement are your responsibility).
  • Keep the drop-off area accessible throughout the rental period.

5. Prohibited Materials

To keep everyone safe and stay compliant with Florida regulations, the following items are strictly NOT allowed in our dumpsters:

  • Hazardous waste (chemicals, solvents, pesticides, asbestos, etc.)
  • Flammable or explosive materials (gasoline, propane tanks, etc.)
  • Batteries (automotive, lithium-ion, or lead-acid)
  • Tires
  • Paint or paint cans (unless completely dry and hardened)
  • Electronics (TVs, computers, monitors)
  • Medical or biohazard waste
  • Liquid waste of any kind

If prohibited materials are found in a dumpster, we reserve the right to charge additional fees for proper disposal. In serious cases, you may be held responsible for all related costs, fines, or legal fees.

6. Site Conditions and Property Damage

Dumpsters are heavy. Even with our best care, placement and pickup may cause minor wear to driveways, pavement, or ground surfaces. By booking with us, you accept that:

  • We are not liable for minor cracking, scuffing, or surface marks from normal dumpster placement.
  • You are responsible for making sure the ground is suitable for dumpster placement.
  • If you want boards or protective padding under the dumpster, please let us know when booking.
  • We may decline placement if the site is unsafe, inaccessible, or not suitable for our equipment.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before scheduled delivery are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • If we are unable to deliver due to circumstances on our end, you will receive a full refund.
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

8. Use of Subcontractors

We may use third-party contractors to fulfill deliveries and pickups. These subcontractors are held to the same service standards. We remain responsible for the overall quality of your experience.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Florida law, DropSkip LLC's total liability to you for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific rental in question.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of income, business, or opportunity related to dumpster use
  • Damage caused by improper use of the dumpster or violation of these Terms

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Brevard County, Florida, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
